Brian, Determining His Good Side
Before he showed up, the whole thing was a bust, everyone had flaked, we three who'd come together were depressed and hungry. But all it took were the dulcet tones of his voice asking me where i was from the tiny speaker in my cell phone to turn it all around. Like some kind of shaman, his arrival marked the sea change, causing it to rain Polaroid Freaks.
