john explains pivo (or is it peevo?)
while waiting 2+ hours for a table, john taught us all a card game he + his roommate made up in college.
I was just drunk enough to understand the rules:
You cannot ask questions unless you say "pivo" and everyone must then put down their cards while the question is asked/answered.
To begin playing after a question, you must say "un-pivo."
You must say "shitty" when you draw.
You must call out all spades.
8s skip a player.
Aces reverse the direction.
And if you play a 7, the next person either has to play a 7 or draw two cards and say "shitty shitty sevens are negated."
Jacks allow you to change the suit.
When you have one card left, you have to say "last card."
