a week and a half after her surgery.
her bandages were off a few days earlier. right now she cant hear at all, although she tried to describe how she hears her own voice differently. she'll get the external parts of her cochlear implants in the middle of this month [probably the end of next week or the beginning of the week after that]. then it'll be months of basically learning how to hear with them.
