Soup Can 01
Shot on SX-70 film. I tried to manipulate this without much luck. The film is ne of the '05 expiration dates. Despite the fact that this isn't really manipulated, it looks manipulated. I think it's a combination of maybe being too close, the bright sun and the expired film. Whatever the cause, it's a happy accident and I'm really pleased with how this turned out.
My inspiration, of course, is the Warhol Soup Cans, but also this project was very much inspired by artpunk's Magritte series. I love the idea of modeling Polaroids as a homage to our favorite artists.
