children are gone, now

Since that beloved pic of mine made it SOTD, I feel like telling its story.
That was built by my father, some 10 years ago, when my son Paulin was two years old. My son used to love it and rock on it every single day of holidays at his grand parents house. My dad used to install it everytime we were about to come and carefully store it when we went away. He was that kind of person, who really care about things he did with his own hands.
3 years ago now, my father left this world for an hopefully better one, and my son stopped using it. I decided that, my father not being here anymore, I would leave it outside and get old as we all do.
My son Paulin is not using it anymore, except to entertain his little brother (see the two following pics) but mainly on moments he feels a bit sad about life or anything : he just sits there, and watch the landscape. I know he's thinking about his grand dad, also, wich he loved very much.

And now it's waiting for my young little Anatole to be tall enough to use it.
And I will again carefully store it in winter and install it in Spring. Life goes on.

That morning, I woke up really early and went out with my camera. I saw it that way and thought about all that. Took the pic. Guess my feelings and thoughts made it through the pic so that people here appreciate that image.
Thanks everyone a lot
