For ages i've been admiring the decayed negative experiments of my friend Kevin Pointer (

A few days ago, I pulled it out, after it was exposed to the extreme cold and heat, wet and dry, of our Texas winter/spring/summer . I pulled off--like a sheet!--the dried chemicals, and voila.
This is for Kevin, because he comes up with all the ideas I wish I could think of, but never do until I see his versions, which are always better! (that was a hellava sentence, yes?)
Uncleared Polaroid 85 negative shot in a Holgaroid and allowed to decay in a Honda Civic, under the driver's seat, for 8 months.
PS. This little negative was purchased in NYC, flown to Florida, where it lived for awhile, moved to Texas through Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, traveled to California through Arizona and New Mexico, got exposed and "buried" under the seat in CA, and then back to Texas via the same route again, so it's really been around!
