equivoque
i have always been interested in memory, recollection, and nostalgia and how the photograph works in that arena. recently, dissatisfied with 600 film but interested in its b/w counterpart, i decided to start photographing details from old b/w photographs from my past or from the past of my ancestors, knowing that the 600 would translate those images into sepia of some sort. this is a self-portrait as seen through time. the woman in whose arms i rest is my beloved grandmother.
