Lucy, Lands End, 2004-"Crouch end rocks"
This is a photo of a photo being taken of my now ex girlfriend. There is this odd thing in Lands End where there is a sign telling you how many miles to John O'Groats and you can pay to have your photo taken under the sign. They also put the mileage to your home town and you can put your own message on the sign. Lucy chose 'Crouch end rocks' as that was where we lived at the time.
I always think this is bizarre- especially as they are both wearing yellow - and it's nice that the subject isn't posing for me but for some other photographer for a change!
Oh and for those who don't know- Lands End is the southernmost tip of England, and John O'Groats is the northermost tip so its the end of the country!
