Purple rain, purple rain...
I spent much of my childhood galavanting around these boatyards in Chaguaramas. When I was about 12, the guy who owned and managed this place at Crews Inn used to take me everywhere with his driver- we went all over. I found out when I went back he had died, which wasn't a huge surprise- but still...this place has lots of memories. We were both kind of lonely and he was sweet and kept me company when Dad was off working.

On this trip we stayed in the marina for four nights- used the pool, ate the yachtie food...it was nicely circular. I don't know when I'll next be back but at least this time I have photos of the place. When I was there last I never took a picture and nor did anyone else- so it was only in my memory, and now I have all my childhood places on Polaroid, which makes me very happy indeed....
