Corn on the cob is ``Kukurutz'' in Austrian. Beer is simply ``Bier'' (which is also just plain German.) Please don't ever misspell it as ``Beir'' - that annoys me to an inexplicably strong degree.

If you want to challenge the notion of there being such a thing as an Austrian language or vocabulary, be my guest.
