This is the Crossroads of the World building on Sunset Blvd. In the movie L.A. Confidential, the "Hush Hush" magazine office is located in this building complex. I believe this is another mid-century modern example, but it could be a bit earlier -- maybe deco? Eh. I'm not sure.
