This is the best approximation of a Viennese café in North America that I'm aware of. I'm drinking a Gösser and an Einspänner here. The pastries are really quite good. When I visit again this summer, Adele Bloch Bauer I (sold for $135 million earlier today, whew) will be just down the hall from this museum café (part of the Neue Gallerie on Fifth Ave, just two blocks down from the Guggenheim on the so-called Museum Mile.)
