boobs, because the painting of the thai woman in the entry hall of a new thai restaurant in riga features some sweet boobs. just karin's love for the 50's pin-up style she sometimes integrates.
bollocks, because she still did not get payed for it. for months now. the woman, who did all the work to start the restaurant (but was not the owner) was going to give her the money in cash from the restaurant, as the whole situation was going on her nervs as well. so we went there.
turned out, she also did not get her money, and had left.
i once met a guy at a bar who hasn't payed karin as well for months, but still was continuing to run his business. so when i went for another beer, i took one more, and gave it to him. he was talking with some guy that moment, but i really did not care much about. he was the sort of guy who's talking business even when he goes out. he was slightly irritated. i explained who i am, pointed to karin, who he had seen but did not greet, and said the beer is on me. as things seem not run too well for him as i heard.
within a week, she got payed.
so, now..as the artwork still is not payed for months, karin still owns the full rights to it. so we're debating if either painting it over (while announcing it to the usual tv-shows before), or selling it to somebody else (a lawyer with sense for art and homour who has some funny ideas) is the better idea.
(i was close to exhibit only this tiny 3x4 inch polaroid together with a text in big letters at my exhibition. i really was)
