Benedict contemplates the eschaton
The Eschaton-1 was actually the name of the spaceship inhabited by the Earthlings in the little known sci-fi series Terra, Adieu that ran from 1963-66 and starred Stuart Margolin and Sylvia Sidney. It is rumoured that the glasses worn by Sidney in the season two finale, designed to reduce the glare from enemy cyborg flares, inspired a line of spectacles to be worn when driving at night.
