Driving through West Texas, there are all kinds of weird little towns that are about 2/3 abandoned and 1/3 inhabited. One of those places that I came across on my latest trip was Chillicothe, TX, a little town that had an interesting combination of revival and collapse. I found this amazingly beautiful old house--look at that door!--just off the main road through town.
