Capri.
maybe the best transfer I ever achieved.
depends so much on the tempearature and air humidity.
i think.
however.
there were years were I struggled with the image, the framing. questioned it. i didn't look through the viewfinder, using disposable cameras back then, and super 8. this was before lomography and all.
later, i used only my polaroid. taking even less pictures, but, framing now. still.. deconstructing the reflection [ab-bild] by making transfers. destroying the maybe perfect picture before I even could see it. just to see, what will rest. which i welcomed far more.
I stopped after Capri. A lot came together. An accident which surely changed my life.. (and which was the reason why i had been there at that point, against all advices from the doctors. I knew all i needed was sun. nature. and long walks. training every muscle in my body again, slowly, but steady). but also - I think i knew what i wanted now. fully realizing that i did some years later, looking back from now. how to deal with it. the framing. the moments.
I don't regret any second, any shot. and it was a good training. i can get along without a viewfinder quite well.
