Liliane Vertessen, Flemish photographer, installation artist and sculptress, sees me at her house. Heart-shaped glasses perched on her nose and rooms crammed from floor to ceiling with artwork she could never bring herself to sell. Wayward is the lady, spicy her art. We rummaged through old shoe-boxes together and dug up some original 1970s Polaroid treasures. Raise that pedestal for Lady Vertessen. Cue spotlights.And remember: only the fabrics may be touched.
