Laika, Labor Day 2009
A couple of years ago, my mother found a never-used Kodak Partytime II Kodamatic camera that someone had given her in the early 1980s! It didn't have any film, though, and they stopped making it in the 1980s, too. Fortunately for me, my dear friend Kevin Pointer gave me a pack of film many months ago, and, when I was visting my mother last month, I picked up the camera. Here's the second photo I've taken with it-I love it! I made this scan about midway through development. The final image is somewhat darker and more universally purple. This is my whippet, Laika, enjoying a Labor Day sun bath.
