My sister was trying to collect a bouquet of wild flowers from each state we drove through, I believe these are from Kansas. When we got to California, the agriculture people took them from us, they said it was Russian Thistle and ti would take over the waterways. We thought they were joking at first, but the lady was pretty incessant on obtaining her bouquet.
