What to do with a faded PX600? II.
The small silver particle size causes the warm colouring, so there is one solution: to increase the size of silver particles by coating them. Gold and selenium toning works well. This sample was gold toned.

Pros:
- cool, close to neutral tones
- permanent, stable, resist further heat, light, chemical attack

Cons:
- time consuming, labour intensive
- geometrical distorsions on the final product, lack of original integral film frame

Tip:
peel it apart, lift the emulsion, treat with gold toner for 10-20min [I used Tetenal Gold Toner], and transfer it to some art paper
