9. fresh film - forth attempt - the flat iron
..realizing that the freezing technique has reached its limits with too fresh shots, I decided to try the opposite.
maybe heat can get over the fatal combination of elasticity and glueyness that makes the picture layer so indecisive.
I decided to put the picture onto the flat iron (mild heat) before seperating the layers.
..the first reaction of the pic when put onto the iron is a scary appearance of dots/bubbles
(much more and worse than on this scan, but most of them vanished again during the time it took to make this scan)
but dont worry!
