2. peeling 5 days after exposure
here the picture layer apparently is in it's indecisive stage.
if you just pull the layers apart, you end up with the result above - parts of the image stay on the Mylar (right side), parts stay on the emulsion layer/negative side.
this is not what we want
(lower picture - separating a bit more carefully, trying to get as much as possible on the emulsion layer side)
