339 When...
339 When...Pestilence Walks The Earth...A RARE 14 YEAR-OLD UNEXPOSED POLAROID 339 COLOUR AUTOFILM

A print on the Polaroid 339 of a 12" boxwood statuette...the slide was taken at a museum while in London.

New Test Approach And Revitilized Formula [2b] Experiment

Camera: Vivitar slide printer.
Exposure: Auto/adjusted film speed to ISO125.
Film: Polaroid 339 Colour Autofilm/Intergal 3x4 image size/expired 1998.
Location: Carson City,NV.
Printdate: 11/22/2011.
Scanned: Colour/on auto/cropped/scanned after 12 hours.
Note: Experimental revitilized film chemistry [2b]/14 year old expired film/pods about 30%-60% dryed-out/2-3 fstop drop in film speed/image is a print from the slide.

Evaluation

The new revitilization formula [2b] improved the reagent spread, some better colour patches and working from a slide helps in speeding up the process for testing and more control over the image contrast.
For the most part...with revitilization process there probably will be considerable dye-transfer colour cross-overs, which varies from film to film and from pod to pod.
On the extreme left-side of the image is a very small image strip of the first test exposure for this film pack [not revitilized].
I give the film 15 minutes dark processing...the colours are for the most part...set in place after an hour and after about 12 hours the clearing and image contrast seems fairly stable (?).

Please enjoy!!
