The Washington Monument
The only frame I ended up taking on our trip to the capital. I knew it would be nice out, so even without a working flash, I brought the Impulse. Sophia and I drove up the morning of her flight, which wasn’t scheduled until 8:30 PM, in order to take some needed time with each other and roam around the city together. Both of us had never visited D.C. with such leisurely terms, only with our respective schools. It was so nice.

This frame was supposed to be a double exposure of the same scene offset about twenty feet to the left, but for whatever reason, the second exposure didn’t do much but give the first a very cloudy haze. In whatever case, the result is a dreamy toned, almost 20’s looking image.
