The Addiction(s) I Get Lost In
“There are all kinds of addicts, I guess. We all have pain. And we all look for ways to make the pain go away.” ― Sherman Alexie

This visual is also part of an ongoing project (tales from the darkroom). It's about metaphysic reflections on what drives us in our "minds" – our fears, passions, anger, hate, dark thoughts ... and so on! The dark room respectively the setting, the figure and the other elements are the visual metaphor for our minds/thoughts. The 'door' respectively the 'light' is the symbol for what comes from the 'outside' – what influences our mind. Some subjects are sociocritical, some are human self-reflection (like this one).
