Tip:
Polaroid transfer of a slide that I shot from one of my digital collages. The image was a collage of imagery that I found in a very outdated anatomy book. I duplicated the bodies over and over and presented them in a form of UNITY and PEACE. The bodies expose the internal structure of man and woman and shows that we are fundamentally the same inside... just bodies and vessels for holding organs. We live to die. Interestingly enough, we begin the dying process from the moment of conception. Weird isn't it? One question I ask is... if we are all the same inside... is it ok to judge a book by it's cover????
Anyway... this transfer was fun for me. I transfered the Polaroid neg onto a piece of found lined paper that had a colorful, geometric design printed on it from an inkjet. I used a brayer to smooth it out and to pound it down onto the paper.
I almost forgot to mention that here I did add the text onto the image in Photoshop CS2. I will be working further with this transfer and will be applying the text directly to the transfer in the near future.
Thanks for looking!
