hey there Mr. A.... jsut thought I'd send you a line on this past shot.... was teaching a workshop last night on double exposure and I popped this one up on the screen ... immediately my students loved it... they thought this overlapping was a beautiful illustration and they were so inspired by it two of the students copied your look exactly as their first experiement with the medium. Of course they were doing it in photoshop but the pleasure they expressed in seeing this photo is what I am passing on to you.

^ LOL at your "cheese on toast rules!" How did you know that was what i had for lunch today? (not kidding, it's true!) Thanks for letting me know about your student's response, that is very heartwarming. The tree in that double-exposure grew in my Mother's back-yard and I cannot remember a time ion my childhood when it hasn't been there. A few weeks ago we had a big strom and it just fell over (luckily not hurting anyone or damaging any property) ...a bit sad, but it had been dead for a couple of years now, and we'll have quite a bit of firewood this winter!
