What a disappointment. I was cheering him (Zizou! Zizou!) and his team on enthusiastically until he lost it. As childish and naïve as it sounds, I felt betrayed by his loss of temper. There is no excuse for such behavior, regardless of the nature of Materazzi's alleged provocation and he'll probably pay for it by regretting this for a long time to come. What a shame, what a shame, what a shame :-(

tragic... not only the way he left the game, but the fact that he wasn't there for the pk round... his team needed him, and he let them down... one of the most monumental failures of an athlete in sports history... if i was him, i'd play next year... going out like this is just shameful...
