do you think is it worth trying to organise some kind of letter/petition to fuji to see if they would be interested in taking over manufacture of these films?
i don't claim to understand all the background and issues behind polaroids desicion, and i know we are railing against commercial decisions made by global corporations, but i cannot believe that the market for sx-70/778 is so small that a company could not make a financial go of it!!

sorry to but in on your conversaition :-) .. but have loved both esther's and your own expired 778 work - it is indeed a tragedy that this film is no more. i shot a lot of non-expired 778 and it was without doubt my favourite polaroid film :-(

^ ok!!! So lets became ourselves a little activists and lets do something against this fact!!! (... but what?.....)

^ what are we gonna do? I have 3 more pics in the camera and that all folks!!!!! really this is a tragedy.... considering that in one year it will happend the same with the sx-70....... really WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!
