its nice to see so many shots of your grandmom. here in the states I dont think people pay enough respect to the elderly which is a sad sad thing. this dear lady must have a wealth of knowledge to share

^ she does, and some very amusing stories! its sad that old people leave us so soon...usually just when we learn to appreciate them...xx

she seems so sad yet happy and confident, yet fragile....such moving portraits.

^ Yeah, I always have such a pang of guilt whenever I leave her. I don't like to think of her just pottering about on her own. She is so dedicated, she basically lives for us, and would go without for us, and can't get used to the fact that we want to look after her now...so she always looks like the is straddling that line between being vulnerable and being the 'provider' who puts on a brave face...thanks!
