When I was in New York City in late September 2001 I didn't take a single photograph. I don't think I regret it, either. I like the wrinkliness of this lift!

^ Wow, I don't blame you for not taking pictures in Sept 01. Too new, too raw. A year gave some distance. I visited a friend who was on the last #9 train through the WTC stop that day. His account was pretty chilling. Glad you like the lift. I had all three of them on one sheet as a triptych but couldnt upload it as one image.

How did you add the colors? This Lift is very symbolic, like it a lot.

I also have one with a ripped flag from Sept 02 with DownTown Manhattan in the background.
