I walk the bridge every time I visit as part of my night walk - the first night of my visits I walk from downtown Brooklyn over the Brooklyn Bridge into Lower Manhattan, work my way up the island in a zig-zag fashion so that I end up either in South Harlem or someplace in Central Park by sunrise. `Always a nice way to get reaquainted with the city.

^ Wow. Thats a hell of a walk. But the best way to see any city. Except LA. I had always loved the Brooklyn bridge (most bridges actually) but despite growing up in New Jersey and spending a fair amount of time in the City, I had never walked it. I think, like you, I'll make it a tradition!
