At the very most it's serendipity but it's certainly no fluke. You returned to the scene, you framed the scene, you pressed the shutter. You made the image.

^ thank you! serendipity huh? hmm. i like it. i think the reason i had considered it to be a fluke was because i shot two or three packs on the alley by itself. on a whim, with only a few shots left, i said fuck it and jumped into the shot. and this was the result. |

this is so lovely. edward hopper has always been my favorite american painter and this is so much like something he would have painted. the light and depth make the shadow look lonely, something hopper was a master at. i love it! wish i could vote 3 times.
