haha, and it would have taken probably years and special permissions to get to the hidden treasures..but .deep inside there is a collection of modern art, there was a openminded pope in the 60's, and most of the pieces are gifts by the artists. it's not much taken care of compared to the other art there, but very interesting - and quiet! cause nobody goes there.

there a lot of treasures of pan paintings and sculptures buried deep in the vatican they didn't want us to see...

^ really, I was there this fall but it would've taken weeks to try to see just what's already on display. My favorite pan picture is one by Atget in Versailles, do you know this one? I actually love all his park pictures (Versailles, Tulieres, Sceaux, etc.), I hope to visit these places someday.
