Do you just setup on the street and invite people over? How do you handle this? Do you give them the 55 print and keep the negative? Do tell. Thanks!

^ thanks for your comment and interest. yes I made it like that : ) setup on the street (choose the good place for the light) and invite people who are interested on my work. it's based on an exchange, so I give them the 55 print and I keep the neg (in a pola-seal). these pictures are parts of a personal research started in 1998 in NYC. the goal is to make the portrait of a city with the faces of its inhabitants. faces like landscapes. I do not seek to obtain particular expressions, but if it's possible neutral faces who speak by their features, their forms. I also request their origins (from where are your 4 grandparents?) (the list of countries under the title). I worked in various cities, NYC, Rome, Paris,etc I also test this work in some parties in Geneva. for me it's a little like a therapy and also a very good school of the portrait.
