while these portraits are technically perfect..most of the people just look lost, jaded, decadent,somehow hopeless. although my own drunken state may be the cause of this pessimistic view

^ Most of these photos aren't taken in grocery store check outs...they are at parties or places where they usually look a little more decked out. They are not lost, hopeless or sad people...they are awesome! And by the way, what is wrong w/ a little decadence??? Is that a German thing?

I still don't know how you pull these off with a Spectra - I've never, ever seen any Spectra shots that aren't absolutely washed out. You must have the magic camera, I swear to God.
