this one is really nice. i like how the sharp point of the pencil is in focus while th erest becomes blurry. a strong image.

It's a great picture. There is a poem of Tymoteusz Karpowicz, a Polish writer, titled "Penicil's deam" and i think it's a good place to post it.

When the pencil undresses for sleep
he firmly decides
to sleep stiffly
and blackly

he is helped in it
by the inborn inflexibility
of all the piths of the world
the spinal pith of the pencil
will break but cannot be bent

he will never dream of
waves or hair
only of a soldier standing at attention
or coffins

what finds its place in him
is straight
what is beyond is crooked
good night
