Oh what a perfect world that would be, no? I started a "Polanoidswap" project some time ago (if you haven't seen it, check that user name) where a number of us put our names in a hat and then shot 'covers'. I covered Lia, which was really tough. This would have been a great one as well, but I didn't draw Lou's name.

A name change to Bowie . . .hmm. . .well, David Jones did it, so why can't i?

The framing is very Lou, and maybe so is the overwhelming sunlight in the center and right side... I hope this sparks a "I can do a cover of your song that's better than the original" kind of fight betwixt you and Lou--then you can change your name to Bowie and recapitulate glam rock in the mid-seventies with Polaroid film. And then somebody will shout "Motherfucker!"

Very nice portrait. This is easliy as good as lou, and he's rockin' a sx-70 now too.

^ He's only rocking the SX-70 to be retro-cool, or maybe he isn't letting on that someone from Polanoid broke into his house and stole his treasured 680.
