i need to dust of my old burke & james. it has a nice vintage turner + reich lens that can be used a 3 different focal lengths depending on the elements used. haven't used it in years. maybe soon.

(oh, and hugh, when he's back from his trip, sure also will be pleased to see the results) the graflex slr is a lovely toy. a.) slr b.) nice old smell, nose in the viewinghood c.) the lens. way overlooked, to get for quite cheap. (did you know hugh once went to a special company to ask them to get the coating OFF his lens? :-) love old lenses.) |

^ ahem.. too much. but i can't help it, I love old lenses, the different (and big) formats, and even some plastic cameras I have to try out at least once to see and understand what for example a special exposure system would make different. It's like a little musum here - except the fact I am using them :-) (but also taking care :) |

i love the DOF in this shot. and the subject is lovely.

^ so much love :-) that's the great thing about the camera btw. like the sx70, it's a slr, so you are able to judge the DOF immediately - plus you can control it as you have f-stops (and the lens renders the light so beautiful if open) |
