Woo! Portraits. They're a lot more fun really. Ok. They can be nervewracking as well, but that's part of the challenge and the reward of doing them.

I know what you mean, I'm starting to love shooting them, which is quite different for me, thanks for the comment :0)

I vote. Though I am not a fan of that Photographer which name I don't remember, but a fan of those things I mentioned, which are your style, approach and achievement.
enough flattering - I just want to see more lf portraits from you :-)

Its funny because I was talking to someone today about how I really want to shoot more portraits, I've always been slightly unsure with them, but i think that its the one place that my photography should go at the moment....Thank you for all the suppport

haha, "80's pin up special"! I was thinking about a special photographer of that time, but I just don't get his name...and anyway, his pix were all soft, no little fine lines at all - so I am glad my brain sorted the name out.
Did more?

Did more shots? just this one, will shoot more with it though, I used to have a lecturer who was the 80's pin up special master, he even stretched to the star burst filter....pure style!

nice silent feel.
well, "blue"...
love the lines in the horizon and on her face, as the details in the hair. and yet so soft...old lens?

^
I think the lens is about 1950s but a really cheap one, I need to test it with some flm as well, see how soft it is, Its kind off a fine line with old lenses, I love their imperfections but sometimes if they are a bit soft it can be a bit 80's pin up special, thanks for the comment
