Such a beautiful photo. I personally feel like it's about long term love and life. That life sometimes isn't pretty, fun, or easy, but it's okay and we can make it. I like the overexposure because it feels like it is exposing their true selves, and becuase they're not looking at the camera I know they feel like they have nothing they need to prove.
This is a wonderful example of how a photo is a memory.
