i received my 210 today!! doesnt have a battery in it though... been reading through various sites about adapted battery holders but it seems a bit complicated for me! i think i might just order a 532 battery from the website you mentionned eventhough its well pricey...
^
it is a really expensive battery, probably more then the camera! It should last a while though looking forward to some pictures :0)

Wow. Thanks for the extended reply :) That sounds so exciting!!
So, just to make sure. Which ones actually take AA batteries, and which dont? All the EE models do, but the 300-360 take older ones, is that it?
The developing process and possibilities sound pretty interesting, smell apart :)
thanks again!

Thats correct, i'm not sure if you've come across this »link very useful for finding info. If you can bear to pay a bit more for the battery the 100s 300s etc are a lot nicer, you can get the battery from here »link for most of them. Our loads of people here have adapted batteries. I think inkaust managed to do it recently with cr123a's but check with her. I have the ee100, and its a great camera but I did get a big case of camera envy from sealette's 355, and I know its crazy but when cameras are beautiful objects it seems they take nicer pictres!

ooops or not our!

really, it smells?? i had no idea! Yeah ive seen some cheap packfilm cameras on ebay. They're probably a bit crappy (210, what do you think?) but i just wanna try out and see if i like. The film colour is just too great! Does it develop like 600 type film?
^
210s are good, the only propblem is the batteries are hard to find, there is a company in the uk that sells them, for about £20, or there are various ways of taping other batteries together. The other option is something like an ee100 or propack, they don't have a focusig guide so you have to guess but they do take aa batteries. They can be a bit more expensive then 210s etc. and the 210s I think they have a rangefinder to focus. The film itself is a bit different, you can't see it develop as it is sealed and you have to pull it out of the camera and wait for 1/2 minutes (depending on film) before peeling the part with the chemicals on away. A bit hard to explain! The chemicals themselves aren't as hidden as in 600/sx70 and are quite corrosive, and yes smelly! 669 seems to be worse for some reason then the others. Its a lot more fun then 600/sx70 film though as you have more control over the colours. If you pull the polaroid apart before its fully developed you get different colours, These two pictures were shot within 2 minutes of each other on the same film same temparature. This one »link the polaroid was pulled after 30 seconds, and this one »link was left for the full time.

this is what i mean. I want to start shooting with 669 film too! :)

669 is beautiful film, although it does smell really bad! pack film cameras are quite cheap, although they are not as nice to use as an sx70

Thanks :o)

this is so amazing.
it reminds me of "rose red" the movie.
it's just eerie in a very good way.
