i saw metal plates with small dots in a shop for architects last week. i think they use it to paint/raster special parts. i think something like that could do its job for this as well :)

that is beautiful! i think i'd like the frame a little bit softer though. with smaller points maybe. but it already is really nice :)

^ hehe, we wanted smaller dots... but couldn't find smaller stickers... so had to use the ones we had and paint over them before removing... But afterall we like this one like it. maybe we'll make another polkadots one using another technique.
