you know, i remember thinking about how it'd be a nice place for a picnic. except it was all dark and moist and spooky.i dont recall the bowling alley; was it near that sports center? or part of it? we went inside and just used the bathroom and watched the indoor soccer. and listened to crazy ghetto people fight in the parking lot. all the buildings around there look like deserted insane asylums at night, which thoroughly scared the bejeezus out of me. thats why i like how your photos make it look like some kind of sexy-erotic escapade.. instead of something straight out of that resident evil video game haha.

^ oh no, definitely has that resident evil zombie feel to it even in the daytime. . prowling around the inside of this truck and some bathrooms (abandoned for who knows how long) that we squeezed into, the creepy 'bad shit happened here' vibe was not altogether easy to ignore. bowling alley was near the sport place which we avoided altogether. new housing is going up like mad - just left that whole part of the island alone. |

... unless ive already told you i ended up going there instead of woodland for my assignment. mare island is a cool place for photo shoots, but way creepier at night.
