I love those lyrics ... "I'd bury my dreams underground / As did I / We drink to die, we drink tonight". Probably my fav song at the moment.

^ The lyrics are amazing - its such a good song. I really want to see them live but i keep on missing them :(

We've got the exact same elephant in the playground outside our house. EU standardization? Btw, your title and the motif makes me think of Beiruts song "Elephant gun". Heard it?

^ I have indeed! Beirut are a great band. The lyrics 'If I was young, I'd flee this town' sort of have a strange resonance to how i was feeling when i took this photo. The thing is i remember when this elephant was installed (or whatever you call it!), must have been about 17 years ago! I'm amazed its still there...
