nope, the green tabasco is even less hot (green jalapeno), chipotles are dried and smoked (!) red jalapenos - very tasty :-) it's darkred/brown. the hottest would be the habanero (red). though tabasco as an international product is quiet mild anyway...if you can get hand on mexican products, then -to confuse a bit more- the green would be the hottest normally (green habanero) - uhlala.. but chipotle is ma-gni-fique due to the smoke and hard to get, so it's nice tabasco has the sauce at least.

chin chin! closing the eyes a bit helps to get rid of the lines btw. though the don't really bother me. somehow match the table..and colors are still great.
off-pola-topic: red tobasco is for beginners. you know the one with chipotle? makes happy :-)
