8 years later - I think that's a pretty cool framing.

Time to see each other again, lad.

ok, now I've read it. big shot. ok. my compliments to your free and crazy mind, for using it that moment, for having only that one in your car. hehe.
but - 2.5 millions? that's crazy. hmm. that riesling i had was not a 2eur even. consumer endprice. and good. hmmmmm....
btw, waldorf is a good thing. didn't know it's also known at your side of the pond. oh, and for me, it could have have been even more centered. cause the tree (did you notice you have a TREE in the image? ha!) and the part of the house in the shadow make it uncentered anyway. goldener schnitt lesson two :-)

i have not read a word, neither description nor comments - but i simply love it. no need for focus for images. not a general law (hello! listen! this doesn't mean every blurry pic is great!) - but, hell, yes.
I just had vine, btw. great wine. white. riesling. it's spring.
did I say I luv it? luv it. luv it. luv it.
a dream

^
ah the rieslings that don't make it to the West coast USA with sufficient variety or quantity. . . absolutely great wines, most of the time. Thanks - love this shot as well, I do.

Your kindness has no limit, but do the vines come with it? i'd hate to make the trip and find my gift misrepresented
^
But of course. Choice zinfandel vines, a bit neglected these days, but from the looks I'm going to hazard a guess at thirty year old vines, so not too bad. Better than fresh young things, for sure. You'll need to buy yourself a tractor, however, as the barn is empty.

I think as intentionally out-of-focus it is fine but maybe have the house more off-centre? Great sky:)
^
Yes I was walking all over trying to get the house off-center but there is a bunch of ugly equipment on the left and a fence preventing me from going too far. .. I spent five frustrating minutes trying to get another angle and then gave up! You nailed it, VF.

ok read your news feed after, though, i don't think I would do anything to improve this

I knew that. I shot this FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY> you now own this house. To claim it, however, you're going to have to find it. There's a big red bow on the door with keys and a can of termite killer.

this is great, I love out of focus landscapes...plus it was shot on my birthday :)
