Oops, didn't favote this the first time around (no, I'm not slacking off, I just forgot). The reason I asked about focusing was because I'm having a really hard time focusing anything close-up with my 600SE if I don't have a tripod nearby, especially since I have to change the back from the ground glass to the polaroidback. A shot like this would, due to that, be almost impossible (I would need a extra pair of hands or something).

yeah, i need to get a tripod, mostly for the nightcam, but it will help with the 450 as well. the packfilm is already a handful when on the move, so lugging around a tripod too doesn't sound like too much fun, but it will be better when the weather warms up and i can take my time.

I've just been trying to find it, i don't think i have a copy of it where i'm living at the moment, but I do have a print of the shot i took just after, its still quite similiar, i'll scan it and email it to you. My websites not recieving as much attention as I should give it, i've only got polaroids and have been meaning to do a film section for ages

i look forward to it hugh :)

Beautiful focus and dop! How well can you focus with the 450? Just through the lines in the viewfinder?

that is how i do it and it works really well, but with the close-up lens it is really hard sometimes to hold the focus long enough to take the shot. everything i do is hand-held since i don't have a tripod yet. glad you like this one joster.
