Sorry I made a mistake! I wanted to speak about J.H Engstrom (not Jan). You can see his work on jhengstrom.com :-)
^
ahh I saw his work last year in london but couldn't remember his name, and have been trying to find him......really grateful now!!
^
I would love to get the human element in my photos in the way he does, The exibition I saw was in the photographers gallery, and I can remeber coming away from it and being overpowered buy it, a few photos in particular....this one »link in particular left such an impression

Your work reminds me of the work of Jan Engstrom a swedish(?)photographer... Love it... I love your country too... Maybe the most "magic" country I ever visited...
^
Thanks :0) I haven't heard of him before but would be interested, I tried a search but didn't come up with anything, do you know where any of his work is online?

Scotland is a beautiful place...I'm just a visitor unfortunately and will be heading of again soon

Clearly, sometime in the future, I need to learn how to make a pinhole camera. How long was this exposure? Beautiful blue day...
^
you've got three weeks! its world pinhole day on the 29th April

The exposure for this one was 20 seconds, its quite soft though as it was really windy and the tripod mount I made is really not very good!
