that's great and real fun! If you ever marry, I'd do it for you!

for paparazzi shots I use real bulbs, as the glitter (from the smashed glass-pieces on the ground after each shot) adds a bit to the glamour :-)
2007-04-09 // 10:09:50 joster The Who you polaroid part I have no problem with because I believe I have beautiful friends - both on the inside and the outside, my problem hits a bit closer to home I'm afraid. Setting up a shot with the 600SE takes FOREVER, which is why all my friends end up bored and give me them "take the picture already"-looks instead of the perfect, undistracted, looks like this.
Ah well, the first step is to know you have a problem, right? What's the next, eh, 11 steps? Will you walk me through them?

it's 599 steps left, that's why they called it the 600SE (SE stands for Slow,Enourmously btw.) ...You're already very close with that sexy tank (you give her a edge of your pillow, no?), but if you want those undistracted shots, my best advice would be to trade your camera. No, seriously: If you really wanna take the risk (and build the muscles) to carry it to all situations: 1.use only one lens. changing them takes to much time 2. get a nifty small exposuremeter you can fit on the hotshoe and/or train yourself to judge exposure just by looking (this takes some years and bad exposed packs) 3. set your time/f-stop combination in advance and to the classic snapshot combination where you have some depth of field so you spare time on focussing (lot of it with the 75mm, btw) 4. get a good flash like a big metz which automatically sends the right amount of light (this is the propack-effect) 5. train yourself half an hour in the morning in front of the mirror to set up a cool me?-takin-a-picture?-you-are-kiddin!- face which attracts more attention than the half squaremeter camera your are carrying ;-)
2007-04-09 // 00:48:44 Rio tell us the story and tell me how to use my heart!
^
as said, I won't tell the story. not very entertaining for not involved poeple anyway :-) that's the secret about secrets. worthiness is special.
how to use your heart? simple. for example, you would know which stories belong only to your heart. and you hit the shutter the moment your hearts tell you to do. and if you ARE how you behave, you might get rewarded with a look like this.
It's a philospohy that perfectly works with polaroid.
